A celebration of food, culture, design, and community. Sunday Funday is the final closing act of the annual events dropped like cookie crumbs leading up to the main attraction. For one full day, 40+ carefully selected tenants are invited to set up shop, stages are set not only for live cooking demonstrations, but also musical performances, skits, talks, and more. This event is made by the city for the city as a showcase of what’s happening, what people need to see and try, to be visually stimulated or to simply just enjoy some good food.
KEUKEN Sunday Funday is an annual one-day food festival on the city space, for the last 10 years the main message is addressing issue of place making through food culture. This year we are stepping into the new quest of context. Deep-dive to learn about cultural diversity. Along with the burgeoning notions, we also enhance the festivity with lists of professional cooks and chefs, music performers and DJs, art installation and performances. While engaging communities which we gladly invite for collaboration.
Being an elaborated festival of food and simply culture, KEUKEN also wishes to spread wide ideas on how diversity could be unified –and educated—simply with food: diverse culture and popular subculture, information on nutrition, also with rural and urban issues. Anything. Showcasing eateries with thematically-curated food stalls in our main event would also brought various education and diversion contents.Download Rundown
